More Than Just Car Repair

Located in the heart of downtown Northfield, Minnesota, Witt Bros. Service continues the legacy of high-quality automotive service started by Marvin and Carol Witt in the summer of 1971.

Originally part of the Standard Oil Company, Marv’s Standard quickly earned the reputation as the go-to shop for honest, dependable automotive service. With top-notch mechanics and friendly, courteous service, “Marv’s” became a landmark of sorts in Northfield. Community residents, farmers from outside of town and others visited the shop not only for gas and service, but to visit and chat, as well.

In January of 1999, the shop changed hands… but it didn’t go far. Marv’s sons Mark and Mike Witt – who had both worked at the shop as mechanics since graduating from Dunwoody Institute – took over the day-to-day management of the shop, and formally changed the name to Witt Bros. Service, Inc. But while the name changed, the commitment to quality and service did not.

Rooted in the belief that treating customers honestly and fairly is simply the right way to do things, Witt Bros. Service continues to attract customers who want convenient, complete automotive service.
